For more than 50 years, GCC Schloss Pichlarn has been the proud host of many major national and international tournaments. One of the most legendary was that in 1985, for the reopening of the course with 18 holes. The then reigning Masters champion, Bernhard Langer, shot a course record 66 on the original par-72 layout that stood for more than 25 years.
