Styrian Ladies Trophy 2021 Review
The Styrian Ladies Trophy 2021 is beaten. The tournament series included 11 tournaments spread throughout Styria. Also this year the best Styrian Ladies teams were determined from 12 participating clubs.
The gross and net points of the 3 best players of each club in 5 tournaments were taken into account. The remaining 6 tournaments were eliminated from the ranking.
Despite pandemic-related postponements until mid-June, all tournaments were held on schedule. Except for the tournaments in Freiberg and Trofaich, the Pichlarn Styrian Ladies participated in all competitions. On July 1, we welcomed golfing ladies from 15 different clubs to our home course and were able to make the most of our home advantage. A total of 20 brave ladies accepted the challenge to represent our club flags from the southernmost to the northernmost Styria.
Towards the end, the fight for the points became more and more exciting and the individual teams came within a few points of each other. With a very good result at the last rating tournament in the GC Dachstein Tauern so still 2 – 3 ranks could be made up. The players from Pichlarn played their best game and moved up one place in the net ranking and 3 places in the gross ranking at the very last moment. Again, a big round of applause for that.
